The 2004 TL is an improved model with a significantly increased sticker price.

I really considered the 2003 model, because of the significant price discount compared to the G35, and it would have been "good enough".

They didn't have the color I wanted in the model I wanted, and I ended up not wanting to wait on the 2004 because of the price increase (and I didn't know enough about the 2004).

I've been happy with my 2004 Sedan, though, and after 5000+ miles still plan to try for 100K.

Oh, how much more is the '04 than the '03 was? I knew something had to be wrong, there's no way it could have depreciated that much more than a G or a Lexus!

My thinking is this... KBB with my options says $31k for private party value. Plus I don't think there are a lot of 6 speeds out there, so I should get $31,500

I lied by the way, I didn't pay $35k out the door, I paid $34k out the door,

31,500 is a fair price, but hard to take a $2500 hit for driving a car for 45 days, plus I doubt anyone's going to offer 31,500 for it.

I'm keeping it!

 

Try CARMAX, they give decent 'buyouts' on vehicles in excellent condition.
BTW, why were you considering getting rid of a car 45 days old?
