Anyone done the 15K mile service at the dealer
I went to Peninsula Infiniti to get the brake lamp recall done and he asked me if I want to do the 15K service, I think he mentioned the cost to be $329
When I asked for what is done I can remember were
Oil change
Interior Filter change (anyone done it?)
Maybe air filter too
Tons of other complimentary checks and leveling of fluids etc.
I have already gotten the synthetic oil change for around $25 anyone knows what needs to be done for 15K service or anyone has tried to done it themselves? I think $329 is rip-off for what they do.

I had mine done at Niello in Concord. It cost a total of $315.37 and that was with Castrol Syntec oil. Labor $166.14 plus parts $137.86 plus tax $11.37. There are too many things they inspected or changed to list, if you want the details I can scan the invoice and email it to you.

Yes, I believe it was definitely worth it. I wouldn't want the hassle of some of the stuff they did (replaced ventilation filter, balanced tires, changed oil). Plus, the piece of mind of having everything else inspected.
They did include the inspection of the front and rear brakes in the labor costs, but this was done back in October before the brake warranty came out.

How about the 7500 mile service?
I kind of skipped the 3750 service at the Infiniti dealer, figuring that, it wasn't work 190 miles each way for it when I did an oil/filter change at the local Nissan dealership at 1600 and 4500.

Hey Skeleton_Cru!
I also take my G to Niello in Concord for service. Everytime so far. ALOT cheaper than the Dublin dealer!!!
I did the 15K, skipped the 24K and did the 30K not to long ago.
My 15K was a bit cheaper because I did the ventilation filter myself (very easy to do) and was still using conventional oil at that time. (synthetic now). They did clean the throttle body on the 15K also.
I had my front brakes replaced under the warranty, going back in a few weeks to get the rears done.
What location are you out of Skeleton_Cru?
Oh yeah, have never been charged for diagnosing things out. NOT yet anyways

Say skeleton cru, what was the rattle in your passenger door, what did it sound like, and what did they do? I have a rattle, coming from that direction, I think I'll bring it up when I take my car in for service this week!

I will have to check my 7.5k mile service invoice when I get home, but I know that 15k is the first major scheduled service so the 7.5k one was probably an oil change with a few other inspections.

I have lived in Fremont for just over a year, I used to live in San Ramon. Where are you at? Ever go to a G meet? I went to the one in March of last year where we met in Redwood City.
ABQ_G35:
There was a rattle that I could hear when bass heavy songs were played or even when I drove over rough roads. It sounded like something was loose inside the passenger's door. I had the service advisor physically sit in my car as I played a song that made the door rattle. That way they couldn't say, they couldn't find the problem. They said they tightened a screw and added insulation which fixed the problem. Some other G owners took off their door panels and tightened/insulated anything that could possibly rattle. I can't seem to find the DIY post, maybe it was on FA. Anyway, it had pics of wires wrapped in foam padding and everything. I'm thinking of doing this myself because I occassionally hear a rattle from the driver's side door.
