How to tell if seats have heaters in them?

No, I mean I'm waiting for Infiniti to offer cooling seats. Having black leather gets friggin' hot.

I don't think mine were filled either. Let me take a look tonight. I had to cut the harness off my sedan seats and use them on the coupe seats but all the wires are there so I can check that. I'll let you know.

Thanks Tim. You still have your stock seats? I'd love to see the bottom of an 03 heated seat. I would able to spot an extra wire right away or the actual heaters maybe

The seat heaters are inside the seat somewhere, you can't see them from the bottom. Both sets of mine look like yours.

I took a couple pics but I only found a few cut wires on the bottom of mine so I need to go look again. Plus the flash was way too bright.

OK, I started typing that last post hours ago and looked around a little more.

From what I can find, all the power seats have heaters. I can't confirm 100% but it looks to be true. If you PM me your email I can send you seat section from the ESM.

The wire colors appear to be Grey w/blue stripe, and Light green w/black stripe. As long as the typical nissan color name scheme is used for GY/L and LG/B.

They would be in pins 3 and 8.
Pin layout is

FYI - The factory switch uses a 10A fuse.

Sent you the seat section via email. From what I can tell there are only the power seats and non-power seats. The power seats have the heaters in them. I could be wrong but I think you have them.

so does that mean that if I have power seats, all I need is to hook up the switch??? would this be an expensive mod? how much are the parts?

If your seats are not power, then no, you don't have the power seats. There are two kinds listed in the ESM, power and non-power. You can add them but I'm not sure if you have the right harness or you would need to add the power wires and fuses.

They might. Check to see if you have the two wires I said above.

well i know mine has heated seats because i have the switches but i'll go check for the wires anyways

I don't think I have those. Unless my colors are different.
