I'm having a problem with my car dying and by searching different threads I realize that it has to be that cd changer and doesn't work anyway so I wanted to know if anybody knows if you can unhook the cd changer and keep the radio and tape deck working. I use my ipod in the tape deck so I really need that tape deck. thanks fellas

 

You say your in-dash cd changer is making your car die? I don't believe you can unhook the changer only as the whole system uses the same set of connections. You can't just unplug the whole stereo either because it powers the climate control.
