New Maxima engine Vs. G35

I see the new Maxima engine pumps out 5 more HP then the G. Does anybody know the difference between the two engines? Furthermore, in my opinion Nissan/Infiniti shouldn't let that happen.

If it's a G it's 4 me!

It is the same engine, just different exhaust system. I would suspect next year they will surely up the sedan's power.

Also,

Maxima = 5 ft-lbs lower torque than G35s

Maxima 5A = over 100 lbs heavier than G35s 5A
