I'll be posting all of my questions about my G in here. I know everyone in here is always helpful. Thanks in advance

I have stock rims on my ride. It looks like they are fading, with black rust/dots. How can i make them look better. I cant buy new rims at this time.

Spray tire cleaner when wheels are cold... let it sit for a few minutes and wipe it off... works well for cleaning wheels too.

yeah sounds like old brake dust that damages the finish if not cleaned off regularly. I think it's common for the wheel paint to look faded. Both of my G's looked that way. Just not shiny. Clean them up and talk to a body shop about putting some clear coat on them or paint them a different color ??

infini_ I tried cleaning it, they're still the same.

68_GT i guess i'll have to get it clear coated, or painted.

I bought a set of stock rims from someone on here, they looked like he never washed them. They had lots of black crap all over them and the paint was messed up in the middle parts between the spokes.

I am currently sanding them down to paint black and clear them. About the only thing that would get the brake dust and all the black crap off is brake parts cleaner. I dont know if that would mess up the paint, but it says not to apply to painted parts. I dont care because I am prepping them for paint anyway..

nice! tint and drop. i kinda like your amber corners so im not gonna suggest clear corners. get a pop charger + Z tube or a cold air intake. then get a plenum spacer, its the best bang for the buck. just search the forum and you'll find alot of hepful advice
