it depends on a few variables. PM me and we can chat about it. Btw, don't do any of that stuff at the dealer, there are DIY vids for all these flushes.

ARGH!!!! friggin rear passenger rotor won't come off!!!! Ok i'm done venting...

Any tips Eugene on getting this off? I've turned the parking brake adjustment all the way till it won't move any more w/o breaking my screwdriver.

By the way my rotors don't turn nearly as easily as it did in your video. Did I miss something? I don't have the e-brake set.

Make sure you turned the adjustment screw the right way... did you try tapping around the rotor hat?

Hahahah...it's funny you mention that I did turn it the wrong way the first time and figured it out as the rotor wouldn't budge at all. I went the correct way until i couldn't turn the dial anymore. (didn't want to force it per your instructions)

I did tap on the rotor hat as well as wailed on it. I was thinking of tapping it on the back side of the rotor to maybe push it out. What do you think?

I think this is one of those cases where you should consult someone with lots of experience doing brakes

If you want to hold off on doing that, you could try some of the following:

a) spray some PB Blaster if the rotor is rusted on
b) figure out a way to use a puller on it
c) re-install lug nuts and lower the vehicle in attempt to loosen the rotor creatively.

Yeah I think i'll take your advice on seeking professional help...At the same time i see now the importance of using the brake cleaner to clean off the rust..Hahah..

What's interesting is I don't need to replace the pads or rotor i just needed to change one of the studs on the wheel hub as it's stripped.

Thanks again Eugene for the advice. And keep the great DIY vids coming!

I found out after doing the install yesterday it's a 23 mm that's needed. Weird size I know
