I'll be posting a video for the manual tranny fluid replacement very soon, however, for me to do a rear brembo brake job vid, I'll need a volunteer since I have non-brembo brakes on my sedan

Hey guys... a copule of updates.

First, I am migrating all of the videos off youtube onto http://www.infinitihelp.com

I am doing this for several reasons, first they are allowing me to place my ads on the page(s) with the videos on them and the only way you can watch the videos is to be on that page. This will allow me to make back some $ for all those weekends lost doing DIY work

basically, every time someone clicks on one of those ads I will get some $ , but only the ads on the page(s) with the videos on them.

Second, InfinitiHelp is hosting the videos in higher quality than youtube, so that should make everyone else happy.

Anyways, here is a video I've been meaning to put up for a while:

Throttlebody Coolant Bypass

Here's a thread about my latest mod...

https://g35driver.com/forums/brakes-suspension/199568-magnefine-power-steering-fluid-filter.html

I'll be posting the install video soon alongside a power steering flush video

good stuff bythebay! nice job.

are you going to do a diy on changing the brake pads on the front and rear non-brembo brakes? how to change pads, bleed the brakes, flush or replace brake fluid, bed them well, and all other things needed to ensure a proper change? i cant afford to shell out 650 for the dealership to do it. so i'm hoping you'll do yours soon. my rears squeak in reverse so i'm worried now.

also, for the differential axle fluid replacement, which kind of fluid do i buy? and how much of it do i buy?

As my friend relpied earlier in another post:

"We have one scheduled for this weekend. It's a 2005 that will be getting new rear pads, a rotor resurface with non-directional finish and a pressure bleed. Stay tuned for the video."

I also made a hood damper install video this weekend. Just waiting for it to get posted

I just might. I'll let you know. Will it be at your new garage?

oh yeah, about that... my dad ended-up calling me and made a deal with me. I can tell you the details later but I can use the garage at home now, almost unrestricted. So to answer your question, it will be at my house in SF.

Thanks, once again, bythabay! Do you happen to know if it's common to have to bend these ball screws when installing in other cars, too?

I'm not really sure. It's always going to depend on the angle between the fender and the hood and all the distances involved. IMHO, if they are selling a G35 kit, there should be no bending required of any kind, but still, perhaps it significantly lowers the cost of the kit so I'm still satisfied.

I will try to be there. What time is the show?

I can't wait to show you what stoopid people that can't park did to my passenger door. Any DIY for this one would be a miracle.
