Forget the intake, go right for a Twin Turbo kit!

not all that much you can do really with little stuff that makes a BIG difference.

not many people mention rear end gears but I've seen somewhere on here where it has been done.

are you manual or auto ?

lose weight. i.e. make the car lighter, and reduce unsprung weight.

Yeah a 100 shot will help a lot, there are a few kits out for the VQ. I have had nos before and hated going to fill the bottle all the time. Never again...

Yes a 3.9 rear end will help too. Bad idea if you have boost but does help the N/A guys a lot. 6MT comes with 3.5 and 5AT comes with 3.3 so even a 5AT can get some gains from getting the 6MT rear end.

Remember that as you go up in final ratio you will rev higher on the freeway in top gear so your mpg can go down.

you could search the forum! theres tons of info on how to make your car faster. my suggestion:

cold air intake -> plenum spacer -> exhaust ->and lighter wheels.

have fun!

how does the factory engine and transmission hold up to that much added power ?

what all is needed to do this ? what numbers did the car make and what 1/4mile ET's does that equate to for these cars ?
