Thank you for all of the responses! I love the word "stealership"! HA!

The breaks are now squeaking when I first break and squealing when I am in stop and go traffic! The car is going back to the stealership tomorrow morning. Will let you know what they say!

Break problem!!

Txag94,

I have the same exact issue, few months ago I brought my car to get my front break pads replace, the guy told me i needed new rotors, so there I agree to have the guy replace new break pads along with the rotors, its not dealer work because dealer just cost way too much. but this is a shop that i have been going for years. After i got that done, few weeks later i found out my breaks are sqeaking really bad, so i brought it back and thought it was my front breaks, but turn out to be my rear breaks this time, so okay i brought it back let him replace the rear break pads, since then its been a few weeks already, sqeaking is not as bad as before, but just the same situation as you it sqeaks on low speed when i am about to break or apply pressure on the breaks... very very annoying... talk to a good friend of my who always work on his own car says that his RSX had the same problem and there is this thing you can apply on the break that can prevent the sqeaking issue, next weekend he will help me apply this solution to my break pads, we'll see how it works out... by the way does anybody have a link where they show you step by step on how to install break pads?? Please help.. thanks all

+1 for hawks. Replaced mine when pads had to be replaced. Just make sure you let the brake "glue" dry before you replace the calipers otherwise it might squeek. The hawks have been awsome. Low break dust, and they last much much longer then the factory. I am going to use hawk pads on my FX also.

I wonder why at least three people in this thread think they have "break" noise?

I agree, things often make noise when they "break," even "brakes" might do that<G>.
