Wiper Blade replacement Help and Winter tire question

Hey all

1st question
I want upgrade my current OE wiper blades, but i am having problems removing them. I referred to the other threads in the forum and owners manual, but i'm still not able to push the lock tab/pin and release the blade. I just don't want to put too much force on the hook connection and have it break on me. Basically i'm pushing the tab and NOT THE HOOK, but nothing moves??????

2nd question
Thinking of picking up a set of Hankook ipikes for my winter tires @ 215/55/r17. I'm leaning towards these tires because of their low price range, and i've heard decent reviews. I live in toronto and sometimes we get a heck of alot of snow. Just wondering what all the g35 owners feel?

My other tires of choice were Dunlop Graspic DS2 but i don't like their speed rating of Q....not that i will speed in winter, but i just want it to be a little higher.

thanks in advance everyone and SORRY about the newbie wiper replacement question.

Not sure if the connection is exactly the same between coupe and sedan (id think it is) but u just kinda pull up on the tab thing and it comes unclipped, then you slide it off the hook shaped thingy and it should come right off.

Thanks for the reply, the reason i couldn't get my wipers off was because the tab was broken off previously (the previous owner )...so i used a screwdriver to remove the wiper. Now i can drive in silence whenever it rains .
