03-06 Turbo Kit, any interest?

STS Turbo is interested in doing a remote-mounted turbo kit for our 03-06 sedans. If their Nissan 350Z setup is any indication, it should offer a nice boost in power. The guys over at STS have already indicated to me that they are very interested in doing a system for our sedans. Is there any interest in something like this?

That is a great kit for the money. I did some plots of my Greddy TT at 4 and 8psi vs the STS and it had good results.

Just out of curiosity, how much would a turbo kit cost?

I believe the Z kit is around $5500 and takes ~8-12 hours to install at your shop's labor rate.

I will be doing this kit right after the winter. The price we talked about is going to be about $6200 and thats for the kit, tuned, and installed. I cant wait either plus there shop is only about 40 minutes away from my house!

Where are you located (you can reply in pm if you prefer). I've been out here for about a year and haven't had a lot of luck finding a shop that I can trust to work on my cars (a pair of 04 Infiniti G35X's). The warranty on one is spent, and the other will be up in February. I haven't been overly impressed with Tim Dahle service. I'd also like to talk with you about STS in general.

im not a fan of the STS kit.... FI'ed G from Staten Island, NY has his set up. we're both going to run our cars next week at the track.

I'm happy w/ my turbonetics kit (im the first turbonetics 2006 sedan 6mt in the country) which needed modded pieces to make it fit and work. vinnytenracing.com does great work. i think 40% of our club is turbo'ed now

i cant wait to move back to Canada in 2010. I will drive down to the US and get my ride turbo'd as soon as I land lol!

There are VERY few tuners here and with the summer heat, going turbo is painful. Supercharged is an option but not for me.

For now its good im here - if I was in Canada or Florida, I would be spending money left and right on mods

I am in SLC, UT. My buddy has a wide body kit 350z with STS in it. Its so damn fun to drive around with him. That car has beat a couple TT cars its great! The shop is in Ogden and thats where I will be going for all the work.

I'm in for sure if they make it car specific. I was thinking about getting the universal kit and trying to make it work. But a car specific kit would be even better!

not sure about you, but the fact that they mount the turbo under the car makes me a bit worried.

btw the only thing I see about turbonetics is they make the engine bay very hot, they have a sh it load of oil consumption issues, and they cost more for around the same gains.... to me that seems like I would go sts
