has anyone tried a full coupe front end swap?
I think it would be an awesome project.
If the front fender fits, order up the APR wide body kit and just mold in the rear fenders. The rear bumper would take a bit more work but I think it is very possible.
But... why not just talk to Rookie and have his shop out here make you a custom wide body with a custom front end. I was talking to him about it a while back.

that one looks crazy, i really like yours to
It would probably be cheaper to buy a G35 coupe, I mean pesonally I cannot see a way to justify the cost- and i'm not cheap. I think the sedan front can be made better than the coupe with a 1.7" drop, nismo front and 8" wheels.. wayyy cheaper and less risk of your motor falling out on the freeway

Richi3,
there is no risk in the motor falling out. If my assumptions are correct, it is only a cosmetic makeover. the structural framing is totally identical between the coupe and sedan. the panels should bolt right up in the same holes! there probably will need to be some body work to make the fenders blend with the sedan side skirts. even the front radiator support piece if the same. the coupe headlights should bolt up to the same spots!

Thanks Tim.
if this works out, I'm sure you'll want to do it, too. Wouldn't it be great to have all the coupe hood and bumper choices!! plus, you'd be able to have the same huge selection of wheels/offsets available that the coupe/Z have, too. the rear fender flares are going to be more involved, but it may be easier than I think.

the coupe is probably 2" wider than the sedan. at least 1" wider on each side of the car.
EDIT: just looked it up.....69" for the sedan width.....71.5" for the coupe. so, 2.5"
Tread Width Sedan: 59.1" Front / 59.3" Rear
Tread Width Coupe 60.4" Front / 60.8" Rear
