So with my new brakes my oem sport 17's won't fit anymore so I need to sell them.
I was looking around and found these for a great deal. Then I found some tires local on craigslist. I'm going to see if a 245/40/19 and 275/40/19 will clear on the rear of my car since I got them both for $100.

I really doubt if 275 at the back would fit.. especially when 255 is marginal for me, with my rolled fender.
+ I am running 255/35/19, 275/40/19 would definitely too large in the overall diameter of the tire,

Tim, I gotta agree with godmans on this one. Remember that PM I sent you last week about the issue with Discount Tire? I installed 255/40-19s with the coupe 19's on the rear, and ever since then they've been rubbing over bumps. And I'm stock suspension! I went back to Discount and they ordered me some 255/35-19s for the rear, so we'll see when they come in how it fits. But a 255/40 would probably rub and a 275/40 definately would be too tall. Go with a 35 series.

damn.. baller.
your spares are what i roll daily..
unless the camber is really negative i dont the those 275s will clear. maybe you can try shaving a couple mm from the rear wheels to make it a higher offset? ive been told that 2-3 mm can be safely shaved by a local shop.

and get some HRE 20"s as my DD..
(Only in my dreams
)I didn't think the 275/40's would fit but I got them in a set with some 245's for the front for $100. I'll just sell the 275's.
My 17" sport wheels are not in that good of shape. The previous owner curbed them up quite a bit. I'm going to put them up for sale on here and ebay soon. They will be cheap, maybe like $100-150 for the set with tires. Shipping will cost more than the wheels so I may have to hold off for a local sale.

Still in works on the BBK. right now I'm looking at the Rotora 380x34 8-pot front.
I still have the iForged, they are my main wheels, these are my spares.
I just did the math on the rear wheels and I don't know why a 275 won't fit.
Don't worry about the 40 series, I understand that is tall so think about a lower series for this.
My current wheels are 10" wide and +42 offset with a 275 rear
The new 19's are 8.5" at +33
That means they will sit 10.05mm in further. So if a 275 fits currently being 10mm out more, why won't this one?
