New G35 owner, got a question

I just purchased a 05 G35x the other day, great car. I noticed that the car has a lot of power off the line. I barley push on the gas and the car wips you into the seat, Is this normal? I checked to see if there has been any modifications done but everything looks stock.

lol its probably the touchy gas pedal, you'll get used to it

oh but if your intake says "Power Duct" you might have one of the special edition sedans with the hidden supercharger

Sweet I must have a hidden supercharger...lol

Actually it does it some times not all the time. usually when I come to a stop light and I'm at idle for a minute or so. As the car in front starts to pull away and I touch the pedal it leaps forward. Had a guy the other night in the lane next to me thought I was trying to race him. (Benz C class model) Almost the whole way home he was hot roding it off the line. Traffic was tight so I couldn't floor it. All in all coming from 2 trucks, Dakota R/T 5.9L V8 and an Escalade 6.0L AWD to this car it has been great.

I test drove two Benz before I test drove my G35x. First was the 2006 Benz 230, nice car but no power. Then drove the 2002 Benz 430 4dr ok power, then there she was sitting in front like a champion horse. Test drove this car and that was it, done! Give me the keys I'm taking her home.

My first change is to take the stock wheels and powder coat them black. easy since I powder coat. Then the exhaust, I will build a custom air intake kit, Cold air box and intake tube, I'll post some pic here.

You guys rock....
