as stated, i want to know due to the fact that i see alot of 05-06 that come with the sides painted instead of the grey color like th 03,-04 .

I would like to have my sides match the color of the car instead of having them grey.

I think most people either DIY or have a body / paint shop do the work. I have a 06 but I've read enough posts on here to know that it involves sanding and prepping the lower sills to make them smooth or putting a lot of paint on and sanding in between coats. From what I remember. I think there is a DIY for this where a guy used a single coat (base + clear) in his garage with a spray gun and had pretty good results. If you have a silver or ivory paint job I'd take it to a shop because those colors are way to hard to match.

I have a 03.5 Black on Black sedan . How can i tell if the car has sport package ?

You car will have red struts and 5 spoke wheels if it is a sport.

what! I was told i was buying aG35 sedan with sport pkg and 17 inch wheels.

I thought the 16s were non -sport.
I am so pissed right now.

Worst of all i got my car 10days ago and today its in the dealer for some thing called Perma Plate coat.

I thought the suspension was smoth but lots of body roll. compared to my old 328i 2000.

No there are also the 17" non-sport wheels.

body roll can be fixed with some struts/springs setup and sways.

yea needs a drop bad,

painted sides will really set the car off along with a drop and some rims.

if this was true, how come no 05-06 owners have put the side skirts from the oem aero kit off a 03-04? isn't those side skirts a little bit lower than stock?

Because the Aero sides are not that different from the 05/06. I don't know anyone that would spend that kind of money on them for the small change.
