Rolling down windows locks the doors???

OK, I know that if you unlock the doors via remote and don't open them, they will lock again for you - safety feature or somethink like that.

But what about this? I parked in the garage, exited the drivers door (which was unlocked of course), and then as an afterthough decided to use the remote to roll all windows down (stinky fast food smell was lingering). I came out a few hours later to retrieve something from the backseat and ALL doors are now locked??? Naturally I did not have the keys with me, and unlocking them via the open windows, followed by opening of the doors causes the alarm to go off.

That is stupid? Am I right? I suppose in most cases you would have the key with you, but come on now.

I think there's a way to disable this 'feature', but it should at least be smarter to begin with.

Same thing, you used the fob to "unlock the doors, and roll down the windows, if you didn't open the door again, it would lock, just like if you used the key fob to open the fuel door, even if your door was open, by the time you went back, it would be locked!
