Should I sell the G as is?
Should I sell the G as is?
The second addition to the family will be coming in a few months and with me being 6'3 there will be no room behind me for a car seat. Needless to say I will be selling my 2006 G35 6mt sedan. It is diamond graphite and only has 9800 miles. The car is in great condition. The question I have is, I have done some mods to my car and I was wondering if I should part it out or try to sell the car as is? List of Mod's bellow.
19" AME Shallen SX wheels.
Nitto Neogen tires. 245/35(f) - 275/35(r).
Tein basic coilover's.
K&N Filter with Z Tube.
Aluminum Pedal Kit.
California car cover.
All weather floor mats.

I'm not familiar with the tires/rims but as far as the rest of the items go, you won't get any money back by leaving them on the car. In fact, you may have a more difficult time selling the car because by trying to sell a lowered, modified car you may be limiting your sales market. You'll be eliminating buyers who want just a regular sedan. People often wonder about modified vehicles and worry that the driver may have treated it rough.
Hmmm...I'm 6' 2" and I had no issues fitting a large rear facing child seat in the middle of the back seat, which is by far the safest place for a child seat. I would never put a child behind either of the seats and near the side impact and seat airbags. My son is 3 and still sits in the middle.
Most anything else on the market will be very tight if you expect to put a child seat behind your seat. I really can't think of any car on the road that would have that sort of room for a rear facing child seat and a 6' 3" driver.

I don't see you having any issues selling your car "as is".Your mods are "minor" compared to some. But if you part it out I would be interested in the pedals. It's a sedan to confirm right?
Thanks for the feedback everyone. AgentAero04,yes it's a sedan. I guess daveb didnt understand that i'm having a second child. DaveB then sais,
"A LARGE MIDSIZE SEDAN", wtf!. I think i'll put it back to stock this week and hopefully get it sold by the end of the month.
