Isn't that dependent on model year?

Nope. All G35X's come with the 3.54 gear and the RWDs come with the 3.32.

i have a question..

what if your accelerating really fast then when its time to shift, you let go of the gas and then shift up then push the gas pedal down?.. I know theres no need for that, but is it that ok? I mean will it mess anything up with the engine or anything like that??

Thanks

won't harm but it's pointless to do that.

I'm not a mechanic, but I don't see a how that would be bad for the engine except you'll loose time to catch up the engine speed. Plus, it might not be as smooth or comfortable ride, which defeats the purpose of tiptronic vs actual stick shift.

if you're accelerating fast and do that, you actually slow down. just keep the pedal down.

Odd thing is, when I plug 3.357 into my MPH versus RPM spreadsheet, my speedometer and tach agree with the spreadsheet.

So if the service manual is wrong, either the speedo or the tach is wrong also. What's more likely, two out of three wrong, or all three right?

Must be. I'm sure the Service Manual is not letter-perfect, but since it, the tach and the speedo agree... ... ...
