'Whirling' noise from VDC
'Whirling' noise from VDC
I've recently purchased a 05' G35 6MT. Due to our recent snowfall, I've been noticing that when the VDC activates, an electric 'whirling' type noise emits from the engine compartment. The noise stops immediately once the car regains traction. Sounds kinda like a blender being fired up in short bursts. I have a feeling it's coming from the ABS or VDC module? Is this normal?
you probably were hearing the same thing i was hearing from the same snow storm we got. I posted a thread asking about it too, it seems to be normal for the VDC and ABS to make noise when the systems engage from lost traction.

Whew
Whew, good to hear this bro. I thought my new G was having issues already. I'm new to the G35 world, do we have a good representation in Chicagoland? I think a winter meet on a nice day would be fun
