Rubbing? sedan w/coupe 18" & Eibach PK

Hello,

I am a virgin here so take it easy on me...I have been lurking but thought now I have a legit question.

The wifes 2003 G35. I got a hold of some chrome 18's off a coupe and and a set of Eibach prokit springs for the sedanm 6363.140..smoking deal right here of the classifieds....$80. The wheels look great and I like the "burley" rear wheel look and wife is OK with it too..the gaps are too big though ...so I convinced her to let me lower it an 1.5" ( this car will be passed down to me within 2yrs so I am getting it ready)

My question is will it rub in the rear?
Does anyone have this setup..did you have to "roll" the fenders..don't really want to do that.. Plus if loaded down with 4 adults and stuff in truck it sure looks like is going to rub..bad.

My tires size in the rear is 245x45x18

Thanks in advance...

The 45 series will be the problem. I have coupe OE springs in the rear (obviously less drop) and have the Z track wheels - they clear but I needed 40 series.

It's not a big deal to roll the fenders for a better overall fitment.

Chico has the coupe wheels on his car for his winter set up. But he run 234/45/18 and has no problem. I you want to keep those tires, like Gilley says roll the fenders.

Thanks for the info...so with the 245 tires I should expect some rubbing and would need to roll the fenders...otherwise 240 will work OK.

they are refering to the aspect ratio not the width.

you have a 245/45/18

you need a 245/40/18

1st number is the width in mm, 2nd number is the aspect ratio, 3rd number is the rim diameter.
