OK guys, I was planning on buying a G in the spring, but after reading about the changes for the '05 model (see http://forums.freshalloy.com/ubbthre...b=5&o=&fpart=1), I'm thinking about waiting for the fall.

What would you do?

I'm in the same boat....lease is ending.
After some of the recent '05 (potential) changes, I'm definitely waiting.
I have also have a winter car so temparary transportation is no problem.
It's going to seem like a long time to wait until the '05s arrive, but worth it 4 me.

I would definitely wait. They'll still have 04's on the lot when the 05's come in... so if you like the changes and don't mind spending a bit more go for the 05... if you don't the 04's should be a big bargain at that point.

Maybe the seat guys will finally get their redesigned seat.. there is a lot of room for improvement. get rid of the titanium center console. how about real chrome on the door handles. memory on the mirrors.. get rid of the amber gauges.. the stereo sucks... the leather is cheap... and rattles... now that I think of it what a piece of junk ... j/k

I'd rather have body-color door handles. The chrome just lookes out of place there.

I ordered my '04 in August of 2003. So I'm guessing they will be avabile around then.

I would wait until the actual specs are released from Infiniti, all I have seen are rumors with nothing backing it up. I'm perfectly happy I got my car last fall but if you don't need/want a new car now then why not wait a bit longer. Like alderran said, there will be 04s and 05 on the lot at the same time so choose then.
