Aluminum Sport Pedals
Glad to hear you put on those pedals already Mustang5L5. Mine dead pedal has this left side extra margin comes out makes it looks different in size(narrower) compare to the non-sport pedal. I doubt it's for FX45. Where did you order from?

Somehow, i think that extra lip is supposed to tuck under the carpet. It kinda bothers me a bit. I', thinking one of these days I may carefully trim out the carpet under the pedal so the lip fits underneath and it looks cleaner.
For some reason, i think this is the true way it's supposed to be. The factory dead pedal doesn't have this lip, but the sport one does.
I also notice i can't push the e-brake down as far. It bottoms out on the dead pedal sooner. It still holds the car though. More justification for me to take out a VERY sharp razor and carefully trim the carpet up.
If i could only figure out how to get the pedal off now.
After a bit research today, I think i got the answer on this. The drilled sports pedal we got are all for menual tran sport model. That's why it's narrower.
