Installed my Spoilerdepot.com spoiler last night!

Here are some pics of the install. Was very easy, just take your time! And what made it even easier, the stock spoiler harness was right under the carpeted cover on the lid that I just tapped into! I also disconnected the 3rd brake light in the rear window next to the trunk light. For the install, you must drill 1/4 holes. But also the kicker is you must drill 1/2 holes to get the screws to fit into the spot (you can see per the picture.) I will buy some plugs to make it look stock shortly.

Here they are...enjoy.

TX,

So that spoiler is the stock replica right? Or is it somewhat different? Looks very nice.

Yes, that does look nice. I hope the price was nice, as well. Good kod with the install. Does the paint really match as well as the photos relay?

Don't suppose the have a sister company Front Fasciadepot.com or Sideskirtdepot.com ???

It matches perfectly. Price was around $170 shipped and painted. I dunno about the sister company.

The sister company was just a joke. I would really like to have the whole kit at a price like that if the quality is as good as you describe.

Ouch,
You drilled through the seal that meets the rubber on the inside of the trunk. Have you had any leaks yet?

You have no choice. That is where you need to screw the holes in. No leaks. Like I said, I am sealing those holes back up once I get a chance.

Re: Installed my Spoilerdepot.com spoiler last nig

Was on their web site the other night, and for the G35 coupe, item no. 10133, they show a base price of $162.00 and $91.00 as a factory painting option cost, for a total of $253.00.

Were you in error in quoting just $170 for painting and shipping?

Did you ask around to see what any local mod shop would charge for the install? I'm way to chicken to start drilling holes in my G35c.

Re: Installed my Spoilerdepot.com spoiler last night!

Exact stock replica? I think the OEM spoiler has a HMSTL integrated into it, and I don't see one in your pics? I am missing something here?

Regards, Skiv
