long story short, some idiot probably backed into my car at this parking lot, and now the rear bumper is all bent up and everything.... at least no damage to the body... ( at least none that I can see...)

so does anyone of you know how much the rear bumper costs?..... any help would be GREALY appreciated....

Mine was between $600 and $700 at a reputable independent body shop. My local dealership doesn't have their own body shop, and the ones they recommend charge even more.

This is for the plastic "bumper cover" assuming that there's no damage underneath it once you get it off. Parking lot speeds shouldn't damage anything other than the cover. Also includes replacement "G35" badge.

 

Same happens to me. Less than $800 painted and installed by infiniti.

Yes. The way the bumper is shaped, the "G35" badge is on it.

I believe the bumper itself was only $260. I had mine painted and replaced for around $500.

 

where did you get the bumper painted???
did it match the stock paint perfectly???
was it $500 including the bumper and the paint job and installation???

exact same thing happened to my coupe last weekend (argh). dented in the rear bumper and i found some paint scratches near the fuel door and rear quarter panel. luckily no body damage and i was able to pop the bumper dent out by hand. if it's going to cost more than $500, i'll probably process it through my insurance company. i might go for an aftermarket replacement...

That's what mine basically was @ an independent body shop. 260=> bumper.
240=paint. Total 500

 

There is no reason to take body work to Infinity dealer unless you have nowhere to spend your money! Heck, most dealers these day don't even have a body shop!!!They take them to a body shop and make money off you. I had my bumper done for about 550. Even then I think it is too much because the bumper only cost the shop about $120 I saw the cost on the shop manual.

 

does everythingg35.com sell the bumpers..its was only 550 with the color match..

I only saw the aero kit bumper..

 

Open the trunk and lift the carpet, check the trunk floor for damage. These cars take a lot of damage with only a small bump. My bumper looked fine after someone hit my rear end. However opening the trunk revealed otherwise. Repair cost was around 4 grand.

...Just take a look in the trunk to be sure.
