My cell phone is dead and my daughter and I both have the flu. We'll have to talk in a couple days. Sorry She's sleeping and this is the first free time I have had in the last three days! It's so hard being sick and having to take care of a young child who is just as sick.

I hope you & your daughter feel better... I was going to call next week - I have 2 shops working on it... have dealt with 3 all together... it's a real PITA!!!! If this ever comes together it's gonna be a friggin miracle! But soooo sweet! Nothing cool or different is ever easy! Why am I always trying it?

Just got off the phone with Randy – the bumper is still a couple weeks out (minimum)… the shop has several other projects that have been on slate prior to this project – so they are juggling quite a bit. They are taking the “get it right first time” approach I believe so lots of shaping and tweaking… also, I suspect there are some cars getting ready for HIN in San Mateo March 8 and LA March 22nd…

I just hope its b!tchen when it’s done! “Good things come to those who wait” – right? I guess we’ll see…

 

I am a firm believer in the "get it right the first time." Sucks for the wait and we all want it now, but in the long run, it will be worth it. We have waited this long, so may as well wait a bit longer. Won't hurt!

However, I'm pumped for it!!!

 

Ah that sucks. At least it is nice to know it will be 100% right when we get them.

 

Since the 05-06 thread got an update bump… any word on the prototype of the 03-04?... timeframe for final fitment?...

Same thing as the 05-06 bumper. Rain stops the paint projects which backs up the shop once things clear up. We're working to get it done.

 

I'd rather wait for a perfect fitment and well made piece anyway instead of dealing with all the problems.
