I had the tight PC'd mesh on my nismo for a year and even with all the freeway driving and construction out here I never had a problem. I see what you mean about the wide stuff and it does look more oem but I like the tight stuff better to protect my IC from smaller rocks.

yeah, I like the look of the tighter one too... I need to see them in person to make a decision though... Viet says he has both, hopefully I'll see them when I get my car.

Mike, did you ever get a set of wheels? I remember you were looking for some CE28N's. This bumper is going to look great on your car, especially with a set of Volks.

not yet... the last time I was looking into them the wait was too long so I got Quaife & 3.7 FD instead... lately I've been looking again, but not getting very good responses from vendors... Viet gave me a contact... I will definitely get them, just not sure when. Since I have cams & headers on the list, the wheels might take back seat again. I've always put performance above looks (until recently)

Do you have a thread regarding your impression and impact of the quaife and 3.7 FD? I have a spare 3.5 open diff pumpkin sitting in my garage collecting dust and would love some inspiration.

What about a set from Forged? I'm not sure what Sharif has in stock for the sedan but I know they have quite a few sets of Volks in stock.

it's out here somewhere and on my350Z... I don’t have time right now to elaborate - but I will say both are good mods... the Quaife is very nice but cost benefit???? - the 3.7 for AT is a definite must!

If you search 3.7, or FD, or Quaife – you’ll probably find some of my posts that have more detail…

Along those same lines, if any of you reading this have a 3.3 VLSD and would like to trade for my 3.5 let me know.

Does anyone know what the price range this bumper may be in? I am planning to go with the Nismo front since a lot of people are going to sell theirs in order to get this one, however, if its a matter of dropping a little bit more for an awesome bumper, I may consider. Let me know somewhat of an idea aka 200 dollars (i wish!) or closer to 1k (hope not!). I wonder how it would look with OEM sills. Thanks

I think it will be in the $400-500 range without paint. Most shops then charge between $300-500 for prep/paint. So if they are willing to paint it for you before shipping it out I would guess somewhere between $700-1,000 to your door.

As long as your oem sides are painted to match, I think it will look fine. It might be a bit lower but not that much and not enough to make it look "off".

in another thread Viet (Rookie) said details will be released next week... I don’t want to comment on price, because I really don’t know what it will be - however, I will have painted OEM sides and will post pics once everything is buttoned up (still a few weeks away) so anyone interested can decide if that’s the way they want to go...

Hang tight for a week or so and details will follow... possibly teaser pics?... In a few weeks final version with paint & sides will be posted.

hmm not too bad. I can get prep and paint done for free so this doesn't seem too bad if it's around that price. Thanks!

Will it match up better with the nismo aero sides?

it's not completed yet... once it's done it will be easier to tell... the Nismo are not much lower than OEM... it is being designed to line up well with both... Pics will be available when it's ready.
