I was busy working to get my motor back in the car the last few days so it is going to the painter tonight. With any luck I will have it back sometime next week.

Viet said he wanted to have a couple 03/04's painted and installed before he started taking orders. Mine should be done this weekend and I think Mikes will also be done very soon.

mine went to shop yesterday... bumper is being painted and installed as well as sides and tails painted!

I'm anxious and excited but a little discouraged because my new wheels aren’t here yet so the OEMS (even though they are powder coated) aren’t going to do any of it any justice... Randy (caskyline) is doing some moderate modifying to my OEM grille and painting it... hopefully it will be ready when the car is done - because the Billet grille REALLY won’t do the bumper justice...

The car should be done by end of week-Sat... I'll post pics when I get it back

Thanks for updating the threads guys.

Yes, I don't want to be taking any orders for something no-one has seen painted and installed. I've been quiet in the 2 threads just to keep the threads from getting any bigger. The longer the thread gets the less likely anyone is going to read through the whole thing to get the latest info.

2 finished painted and installed 03-04s should hopefully be shared with everyone very soon! Trying to schedule in the 05-06 as well so both current molds are tested.

My painter told me mine would be done by this weekend so it looks like we both will be up and running soon.

As for fitment I did not need to modify it at all to fit the headlights/fenters, etc. I had to cut on the grille area to fit my larger power steering cooler and air filters right there but that is specific to my car. Otherwise it was great!!

Me either! I sure hope he has time to finish it. He's doing it on the side for me.

*I only wish I could get him to agree that a cool grille for 03-04 sedan is viable*
Out of curiosity, what kind of ideas did you have for the grille?

a stylish mesh... the 03-04 ones that I am aware of have too narrow of an opening... the 05-06 sedan and the coupes (some) have a wider top to bottom...

I'm gonna run with slightly modified caskyline OEM for a while (not the emblem delete version - just minor mod & paint).

I know everyone is waiting for Tim’s car (I am too ) - but I figured I'd post an update on mine... I just got off the phone with Viet and he said bumper and sides are painted and on and look good

Tails and rear bumper are being painted today - I pick the car up on Monday night... If Randy has a chance to finish my grille by then, I'll try to post pics early next week.
