That was for 05-06 only… Page 6 thru 9 has pics of the bumper

Rookie was gracious enough to agree to make the same style bumper for 03-04… it is a GREAT alternative to our limited options…

My car is in mock-up right now… I will post progress as time goes on. Thanks Rookie for making this happen for us 03-04 guys!!!

Did they give you an idea of when it might be ready?

 

It’s in the infancy stages right now (I debated on posting this soon)… they are creating the prototype mold this week (might bleed into next week)… then it needs to go to fiberglass – then back to the car for fitment… so it will be a few weeks still… I’ll post progress.

BTW Randy (caskyline) is doing some cool stuff – painting headlight housing and replacing amber with clear turn signal lenses, making side markers blink (with turn signals), painting OEM grille smoke anodized…. and the shop they use is going to paint side sills, smoke the side markers and do some cool **** to the tails (I know you know what that is Tim, a lot depends on what you come up with in regards to what we talked about)… needless to say, the car is going through some transformation… I’ll post up pics when it’s all done, but I’ll keep this thread to the bumper going forward…

On a side note, I suggested a grille to Rookie… he didn’t seem too keen – but he wasn’t initially interested in doing an 03-04 bumper either, so maybe there’s hope!

I went back and forth with this one and the impul one I have now. I have always loved the Kuruma Z style and with the larger IC space I think I'm sold.

yep - you got your wish on that one... I wanted the top to line up with the top of the side openings... as Rookie pointed out that would hinder the tow hook. So you made out on that one!!!

The Impul is okay... it's a good option to the limited productions for sedans... the thing I don't like is the smiley look. It's a good option though.

I'm really looking forward to seeing how this one turns out. I think it looks great on the 05-06!

 

Me too. It is a beautiful part and I even still have a nice fresh pc of powdercoated mesh I was going to use on the other one just waiting.

The impul? It should be ready soon, they just did another test-fit.

 

Yea I meant the Impul. Thats good news! When was the last test fit? I hope things get finalized soon. He offered to refund my money until he was done with everything, but I'm pretty set on getting the Impul over the Karuma.
