Sup guys i can't figure out whats wrong with my 2003 G35 sedan. The heater stays on and switches are dead. When the car starts up cold in the morning it's on low couple minutes later it'll go into full blast heat and all the buttons on the center console doesn't work also the cd player control doesn't work but still controllable from the steering wheel..anyone might know whats going on with this? dealers wants to charge me $200 to just diagnose the problem..HELP!!!

Sounds like the common AC/circuit board problem, Your ac controls and radio are on the same circuit board. There is a recall on infinitihelp.com for some g35 with certain VINs. Another option is to buy a used Headunit and replace the old one yoursef, thats what i did. my cost 250.00 dealer cost 600++

I agree. It happened to me too.

Look around in the audio forum and you'll see it's quite common.
