First of all, let me say that ever since i've installed the Rogue short shifter, its been difficult to put it into reverse. Sometimes mistaking it for 6th gear. Sometimes in order to make sure its in 6th, it would have to grind a little.

it happened today on the first day of the semester. A friend of mine asked me to give her a ride to her car, i said sure. When she opened up her door, it hit the curb due to the curb being so high, after i told her to be careful. then i had to make a U turn knowing that i wouldn't be able to clear it without hitting the curb. So as i stopped in front of the curb and tried to put it into reverse, i let go of the brake pedal gave it some gas and it went right into the curb, Cracking the front lip! I was so PISSED! The inpact even cracked the paint job near the inner well of the front fender right below the clear corners. now i have to get another front lip and possibly get the whole front bumper painted, I guess i should have bought Alex's front lip when i had the chance.

I was thinking of putting gray duct tape hoping it would match with the DG, but man, what a waste. How do you guys think the car will look like if i take the front lip off after having the lip installed? All those holes will probably be exposed, huh?

Man that sucks. I'm pretty sure that if you took your lip off all of the holes that were drilled into the bumper to install it would be exposed. Maybe the front bumper being worked on here will be ready soon. That would be good alternative to getting a new lip and repainting your bumper.

sounds like you need to adjust the guide plate that sits on top of the trans so that the gear is selected properly. Sorry to hear about the damage

It's not a warranty thing, it's from the shifter install. It just sounds like you are a little off. My RE is fine.

Man... hopefully that chick was hot.

Is the lip fiberglass? maybe you can try adding some glass to hold it together?
