Lightbulb 2004 g35X - TO BUY OR NOT TO BUY!?

Hey Everyone -

I am torn. I am trying to decide If i should buy a used 2004 g35x here in Canada for about $24,000 before negotiations. There is roughly 80000 km's on it.

I have heard of some problems with brakes with these models...but I want to make sure I am making the right choice. The bumper to bumper warranty has expired, and the powertrain is good for another year or 2 or until it hits 100K KM's.

If someone could help me it would be greatly appreciated as I am torn! If I dont get this, the only other option is a brand new 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer!!

Why not go to the US; take a trip down to NYC and pick this up:

Watch out for that additional $2,995 at the bottom of the information. So it's not really $20,995, it's $23,990! Still, mileage is low compared to the one you are looking at; about 32K KM.

Good luck with the search!

i would never buy from a dealer who would add an add'l $ to the car price like that and call it a down payment. AND on top of that "... all deals MUST be financed " with their dealer... come on.

I would get the lancer rather than the G with no factory warranty. You never know what might come up and plus 80k km is pretty high for the price! But isn't 80k km = about 50k miles? Thought factory warranty was 'til 60k miles. If possible I'd get the Evo IX MR~
