Question 04 sedan, high mount stop light not working, help

So for no apparent reason, my 3ed brake light, both my cigarrete lighters, and the door light on the passanger side went out. Checked the fuse box on the passanger side (replaced the fuses for the cigarrete lighter), and the box in front of the battery. Im going to take off the battery and check the 3ed fuse box when i get home. But my question is, the box inside the car has a fuse marked "Stop Lamp" I believe, is that the 3ed brakelight? Or is the fuse for the 3ed brake light on the fuse box i havent checked. Also, does the 3ed breaklight run on the same fuse as the light on the drivers side door? Because everything else seems to be working fine except for those two. Thanks

I checked all my fuses and nothing seems blown yet the high mount brake light still does not work. Anything else I can check before buying a replacement?

This seems to be a fairly common problem. Are you still under warranty? If not, do a search here. I seem to recall that someone diagnosed the problem down to a diode in the lamp unit, which was easy to replace if you have some soldering skills. Whatever you do, beware that there is an inferior lamp unit that some dealers have reportedly used - which is not the multi-LED original design unit. Don't accept that!

Yeah I remember something like that. It's strange you had the other things go out too.
