Buying the G35

I was wondering if anyone here thinks it is possible to buy the G35, without any packages, for 30 k including tax, license fees, etc. I really want to buy this car for as cheap as possible.

Re: Buying the G35

I would wait till the 05's are on the lot and go get yourself a good deal on an 04... maybe next Sept or Oct would be about the time the dealers would really be trying to push the cars out the door. But getting one for 30K might be tough... unless you can find one of those with no leather seats...

Does anyone have one of those? Because I went to a few dealers and never saw one.

But to tell you the truth if I am going to pay 30K then I am not going to be cheap and try to save a few K I'd rather get the car loaded... I think it also helps with your resale value when it comes time to get rid of it.

Re: Buying the G35

I got mine for $29,754.34 total cost (not including the interest I will be paying on the 3.9% loan). It is a 2004 6MT leather, the only options are spash guards and trunk mat.

I bought it the day after Christmas from Gunn Infiniti in San Antonio- they have a one simple price policy, and since my car had been on the lot 45 days, it had been marked down to $2 over invoice.

Re: Buying the G35

Thorwolf- Great price!
aznkukuboi- I ordered my 04 6MT sedan base for $30,124. This includes everything, tax, title, registration, destination. I ordered a base 6MT which came with spash guards and trunk mat. I did not want the Bose because I figured I could use that $900 to upgrade the base stereo. Well, the base is plenty powerful enough for me. More money saved.

Re: Buying the G35

I guess the tax part would depend on where you live. I paid 32K for a 03.5 (AT) sedan last June with the premium and winter packages... but the tax in MA on that price is an extra 1,600.. if I lived in NH the tax would be 0

The Cloth model still has an MSRP under 30k, if you're really into cheap.

Re: Buying the G35

why not wait a bit and get a used loaded model? If you cheap out, you will always kick your self in the head for not coughing up a little extra to get the nice stuff.

Re: Buying the G35

Yes but it's not really taxachusetts anymore I saw something about tax burdens and MA was closer to the bottom of the list than the top... the list being sorted from highest to lowest.

Anyway got mine at Herb Chambers in Boston... they have good service too IMOP

Re: Buying the G35

I went with a used black 03.5 Sedan with 14,500 miles and the following:
-Willow Leather
-Sunroof
-Winter Package
-Sports/Aero package
-Bose System
-Mats/Mud guards

Paid $27,400 + tax. I plan on keeping my car for a long time, I figure those 14,500 miles will make little difference in value or reliability at 200,000+ miles
