From what I gather, there are only 2 seats options/part numbers... One part number is the manual adjusting seat and the other part number is the power seat. So if you have power seats, the heating elements are already there, you just need the switches.

If anyone's wanting to try this, please GO SLOW with the dremmel. Take your time!!!

You are so awesome. I'm going to order the switches from Riverside Infiniti this week. Also, excellent job with using the Dremmel. I don't think I'll be able cut the hole as cleanly as you, but I'll give it a shot. Any tips when making the holes?

Great work OP!

If you check out my old thread: https://g35driver.com/forums/g35-sedan-v35-2003-06/178023-how-tell-if-seats-have-heaters-them.html I was speculating that this was the case.

Never got to check out the theory myself since I bought 06 seats and installed the switches and everything worked. Thanks for doing the testing on 03/04 seats

Ya know... when i was installing my CF switch plate in the cup holder, I noticed that harness and thought..."hmmm, wonder what that's for"

damn. all those midnight load-outs for shows and nights at LACR when it was freezing on the upper desert. dang.

Thank the O.P. for the DIY

I dremmelled from underneath out and left a little plastic around the indentation of the switch. then I used a file and made my lines nice and even. If it didn't fit, I filed a little more. It seriously only took me about 10 minutes, however, I've installed car stereo off and on for 6 years so I'm familiar with a dremmel.

Talking I agree

If you are NE then yeah it is a necessity. But I live in Sunny California. I heat up the women. Don't need my seats to do it.

so once we install the switches in the center console, they are suppose to plug into the harness. my question is, is the other end that plugs into the seats currently under the seats...or are they in the center console.

or..........do we need to plug the switch into the harness, and then plug under the seat into the harness as well?

Correct. It will be laying there taped in blue electrical tape

Nathan,

I just want to clarify this; you're saying that the only thing we have to do is install the switches on the center console, and plug them into the harness underneath that has the blue tape -- the seat heat elements are already connected?
