Heated Seats infiniti 53.00 option

The 03-04 one just looks a little bit slimmer. Especially in length.

looking closely at the mounts behind the buttons........05-07 switches will most defintely not fit into an 03-04.5 sedan without mod....placing order for an 03-04.5 switch now
got mine in the mail yesterday,
Infiniti of scotsdale AZ has them cheaper than anyother place on the new or in soFla.
There is also a used set on ebay going for $35 shipped now.

Okay, I'm pissed. I took apart my center console and I don't have any plugs except one huge plug.
I don't see any wires running to my seats.
I have the 03.5 6mt with FULL POWER on both driver and passenger seats.

Here is the pics guys.
1 thing to note. I purchased 06 G35 coupe switches. I didn't realize that the printing on them would be sideways.
Another thing to note; 06 G35 coupe switches plug right in to the center console without any retrofitting.
HELP ME OUT GUYS. These things were freakin expensive to just have them for looks.

Just to clarify a few things for everyone.....
some cars are pre-wired, some are not. It's hard to break it down exactly by year and model/trim on which are and which are not. The wiring for the most part is all there in the cars, but you may be missing a plug that goes from the main harness to the switches. Unfortunately this little "adapter" harness/plug is not available on its own, you'd have to get the whole harness for this (expensive).
some cars have the seats that are pre-wired with the heaters in them some are not, I've seen both. Again, there is no distinct way to break it down.
In the end, some people have had success while others we have talked to have not.
we here at Riverside have not nor will we be tearing down cars simply to figure this out, because it is WAY too time consuming and expensive a task to do this sort of research. I know a lot of you guys have called us looking for answers.
What we HIGHLY recomend, is this...
don't jump into purchasing anything until you've looked at your car and know that
1) you have the wiring pre-existing in your console for TWO plugs.
2) your seats are pre-installed with the necessary wiring and heater elements.
If your car meets these two requirements, then purchasing the switches SHOULD do the trick.
We are more than happy to set up group buys for you all on these, but please do your research first, we hate to see people spend money only to find out things do not work....
Thanks guys!

Tony or anyone else, where are heating element pads located? Are they in the foam or do they sit between the foam and seat cover. Getting access into this part of the lower seat is quite easy. I just need to know where to look. My 2003 was built just before the 03.5 change over and I do have the two plugs in the console.
