Heated Seats infiniti 53.00 option
Here are pics of the harnesses I exposed on my 2003 sedan 5AT (Sport, Premium equipped). Obviously, these are the correct plugs. I took a part the lower driver's side cushion to see if I could see the heating element which should be between the seat cover and foam. Unfortunately, the seat cover is attached to the foam with metal wire and hog rings, but clearly there was a difference in the material used at the front of the cushion near your thighs and the rear of the cushion where your butt sits and where the element should be located. The observed material that I believe is the element had some green webbing and a much thicker material attachment point to the metal wire. Hopefully the material I was seeing was the element edge.

Dave, thanks for the pics. Does that help me? Yes, I can see that the harness coming from the dash is the exact same thickness as mine. I know that they make this plug adapter. They have to. If I was to go to Infiniti and say, "Hey, I want to pay for you to add heated seats to my car", well, what do you think they would say? Um, no? No, they'd put them in. And I'm sure they would have an adaptar at that point.
Dave, can you tell me what color the wires are in those two plugs and can you also give me a location in which they fall in the plug?
I appreciate you taking the time to take your center out.

Here. If you have a 6mt, grab hold of the trim surrounding the shift boot and pull up. It is held in with just clips. Once that is free, turn it on its side. There will be 8 little screws. Remove those. That will free the trim from the boot. Now, look back at the center console towards the front. You will see 2 screws. Remove those. Make sure your emergency brake is pulled all the way up. Now, get the back seat. Move your two front seats as far forward as they will go. Look on the side of the center console. You will see 1 screw on each side. Remove those. Now gently pull up on the center console by placing your fingers under the console by the carpet. This should free it.
If you have a automatic. Sorry, I don't and I don't know how to do those.
UPdate: The 03.5 6mt are all missing the sub-harness. It is a small harness that goes from the large plug to the heated switches. I got a hold of the PDF files showing that part. So that is good news for us. If someone finds a way to order this sub-harness, please post it here. The PDF specifically said that the subharness is for the 6mt's only. The auto's don't have the subharness as the original harness goes straight to 2 plugs not one large plug like the 6mt's.
THERE IS STILL HOPE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
