Would you mind cutting and pasting the list on page 11 or 10 and adding your year and type of car?

1. 03sg35 2003 Sedan 5AT prewired (coupe seats) works
2. skyline_g35 2003.5 Sedan 6mt pre-prewired (sedan seats) missing sub harness which Infiniti can't order.
3. Rodrigo 2003.5 Sedan ,5AT, Pre-wired power driver seat works , passanger does not (manual).
4. MightyG35 2003.5 sedan 5at premium package. Lights work. no heat.

Well guys. I've exhausted my ideas other than I don't have the heating element in my seats OR that my switches are bad.

Here is the story. Got the harness that I was needing from Tony. I ordered a 06 coupe console with switches used on Ebay. I hooked everything up and no heat, but the wierd thing is that I would have thought that at least the switches should have lit up? No? I checked by the battery and I do have the heated seat fuse in there, so that isn't it.

Any ideas?

Possibly dead switches?

Possibly no heating element? How would I go about finding out for sure if these seats have the element in them or not?

EDIT: Switches work. How do I know? When I turn my headlights on, they light up. I noticed it tonight while driving. Seats don't heat. So I am going to assume that I don't have the elements in them. Since I've already put $80+ into this, I'm gonna go ahead and get some after market elements and put them in.

I think I confirmed that the 03.5 6mt sedan's will not have the elements in there.

Am I mad? No, not at all. This was a fun experiment. Would I do it again? Sure, why not. What's the point in living if you can learn something and live a little.

Clearly it's a crap shoot. I've order my switches and they should be here mid next week. My G is an 03 with the Premium package, both front seats power, and the standard harness. I've taken a part a portion of the driver's seat and I believe I could see a heat element. I'll post back when everything is installed.

plugs lights up, but no heat. How long before that thing gets hot?
2003.5 5AT, Premium Package, power seats both sides.
I will leave it on, on the drive to work tomorrow morning to see if it gets hot or not.. (i left it on for 2 minutes today and no dice.
maybe they only had one kind of seat when 03 and very early 03.5 were being assembled...

did mine today, lights up, doesnt seem to get heat. Checked fuse box in engine compartment, the fuse was good.

Also, I dremeled the hole with the template that was on the center console. I cut perfectly along the lines and the hole was way too big. I might custom make a nice cover with vinyl to cover up the gap or something. Right now its just decoration, until i verify that the heated seats actually work.
