I would check for the plugs before i buy the switches, all you need to do is take the center console apart and under a black vent tube there should be plugs like in the picture above, they are kinda stuffed in there so look good. good luck I could not believe my eyes also

i think it's just a harness that's there, i don't think the seats don't have coils in them.if u goto everythingg35.com they sell seats with or without heating material
(I think you mentioned it somewhere)

... But on another thread someone was saying that everything was there, just not the switch. TTRANK, what was the outcome of your old 03.5? Did they have it built in just not plugged?

I plan on buying switches this week and investigating. I talked to Diesel and Ttrank but neither knew for sure. I have an 03.5 with power so I hope I can just put switches in and be all toasty. I will post results anyone else who tests please do the same!

You can buy the heating inserts from aftermarket leather cover companies for like $100 and do the wiring yourself if the harness is there. The lower seat cover comes off quite easily.

Ooo a brisk 45 It was -20 this morning in Iowa. Just giving you crap Tim, I'm actually gonna be in Phoenix early next week, so I'll be the guy running around in shorts if it is higher than 50 degrees out. Gotta love work sending you to Phoenix during Super Bowl week!

Heated seats do help quite a bit in this type of weather though

I just confirmed that my 2003 G35 sedan (doggy door) does have the connectors as pictured. The FSM is not clear on what the heated element connector under the seat would look like. Now I just wish I had the switch to see what happens.

I actually have the same issue...it barely feels like the seats are working sometimes...I checked the TSB section but couldn't find anything when i searched. Does anyone have the link to where this issue was addressed or know what I can do to fix it? Thanks!
