Heated Seats infiniti 53.00 option

Well I know this has been discussed but I dont know if anyone has confirmed this. My 03 Non heated seat sedan in fact did come prewired from the factory for the seats. I upgraded to 04 coupe seats so I dont know the the stock seats are heated in the sedan. But looks like the wires are there. This was a 20min job to take the councel apart, pull the harness out and attach the switches, plug and play.
I finally purchsed some switches and installed them, needed to dremmel the center console. I ran into an issue with my passanger switch, getting new one. Other than that I have seated seats, been cold in NE they come in handy.

So were the seats already plugged? All you had to do was install the switch? How about a fuse? I too want to do this mod but I have an 03.5. with power seats. What do I need? Thanks.

Yes the whole thing is just plug in and go, will need to dremmel the center console for the switches or buy one that has the holes already. i picked up the seats from a member here. I recall someone saying all power seats after 03.5 are heated.

I've read that the sedans with the Premium package (which is what I have) get heated seats as standard. Funny that even here in the Sunshine State, I still use the heated seats feature in the wintertime

At any rate, good job with the install OP. Nice to hear that the workload wasn't too bad at all!

I use mine here in Phoenix this time of year. It's nice when I work late, it's dark, ~45 outside, remote start the car from my office and my seats are nice and warm when I get out there.

INTERESTING!

I have power seats in my 03.5'. So heaters are built in? I'm going to buy the switches and see how it goes.

NM. the seats are different from heated and not heated.
the heated ones cost about $100 more each side.
