16 here: parents bought over coupe due to more safety, practicality, and since im in the G until i can by myself my own car (very long time, hoping to have until it absolutely dies) the sedan is just better from a practicality standpoint. im obviously ecstatic and very appreciative

Nothing wrong with having your parents buy you your car. The only thing I hate is when parents do that and the kid ends up driving a nicer car then the parents. As long as you don't drive to stupid with a 260hp+ car, you should be allowed to have whatever car you want/can afford. I'm not hating, I wish I had a G in high school, but having one in college is no big deal, there is probably about 20 in the parking structure everyday at CSU Fullerton. I'm 21 and enjoying my sedan very much (2 doors = hassle)

32. I finished paying off my last car, payed off the credit card, got a great 6yr loan, paid $400 over invoice (which included the $1k man-dlr incentive) and finally was able to get my sweet G. Don't worry if your young and got the car through the family or whatever.....Be greatful, thank God and your parents, and drive that thing!

What's with the age threads? Looks like my group gets left out in the cold. I'm 42 and a car guy. I got my X 3 weeks ago. I have done a few mods here and there to personalize it and make it look different. It's a great car, plain and simple. IMO, if you are a car guy, age is a non-issue. We all have something in common, our Gs.
