Works 2-3 jobs just to keep up payments on the car. Parents only help when you;re truly screwed.

3. Honest kid
Knows his parents bought or helped buy it, but still loves it like he worked for it.

Lucky for me, my parents are yet to step in and help. They would hold it against me forever because they told me I couldn't afford the G. Hahaha, suckers.

i got 2 z's and a g. and im 20. pay for it all, dad cosigned. both z's are paid for (one i got for a steal of a price) and the g has 36 more payments

When I turned 16 my parents gave me their old car, a 1990 year model Oldsmobile Regency 98 that was 11 years old and really showing its age! I drove it for around a year while shopping for a car I really wanted. Found a real steal on a 94 Trans-Am, sold the Olds, Dad loaned me the difference, and I made regular payments to him until it was paid off. I also paid for my own insurance. Had my Mom cosign on the loan for my next car, and the G35 is entirely my name/my loan.

I got the G in May when I was 24 (25 now). Went with the sedan because I couldn't afford an AWD coupe. It was between the G35x and the FWD TL - luckily, I picked the car that moves (sorry Acura...) and moves in the snow (sorry coupes...).

Just purchased an 06 G35x tonight - 25 years old. Traded in my 1999 Infiniti I30, amazing difference.

I know a kid that fits the #1 spot. He got an 07 BMW 328xi coupe, totalled it over the summer while losing control at 80mph going around a corner, now he has a 350z

No such thing as AWD coupe until the latest model I believe.

Exactly. Given my car budget, there was no way I was getting anything in the 2009 model year...

i'm a 3, I take care of it like I paid for it 100%. Wash it change oil..ect when brake job comes up ill be doing that my self as well. I know I am extremely lucky to have my parents buy it for me. Once I get a job ill be helping make payments though.

At first though my dad and I were looking at used Maximas and Altimas but most of them had high miles and were extremely basic, my dad wanted to get something a bit more. So then he says how about a newer altima like 08/09 they are like 19k + with almost nothing so I looked at Used G's and thats when I found my car :P. For the same price as a base Altima, I get a V6,Leather seats, nav,Better sound system, VDC, and some more things I cant remember. So it was good.

^Haha i was going to get an 03 6spd Maxima SE. Then I started looking and my dad was like "For just a little bit more than that Maxima, i can just buy out my G35x at the end of the lease and you can drive that."

Well, his G was too much at the end of the lease (21k) so i just went G35 shopping and found mine for 19k.
