30, had my o5 since just before o6. I'm very mature for my age but my driving isn't. I still drive like a jacka$$. The only coupe i even considered was already fitted with some body mods and wheels and i could have gotten it for next to nothing because it has a lot of miles and the paint was worn like it had only been cleaned with a bristle pad. Still don't know how they got from R34 to V35 to R35 and the only thing thay keep is the circle tails on some of them...

They named it the V35 because it technically (not at all) isn't a skyline and Nissan knows that. It's a normally aspirated engine that isn't inline. They wanted to make the skyline named more known without the R34 Fast and the Furious mind set. They made it a more grown up vehicle instead of a JDM fanboy loving car. Which they did well, in my opinion (and a lot of other skyline lovers like me
) the R35 still isn't a skyline, the skyline car kind of died with the R34. Not to say the GTR isn't a bad *** car, because I would take one in a heart beat.Nissan's marketing has taken a turn, but not for the worst.....
They are set to have an R36 by 2012 or 2013 I think, so I am excited to see if they base it more so off the R35 or the R34 platform. We'll have to wait and see. Fingers crossed for an R34 revamp though, especially if it means selling it in North America!
