Forgive me for saying this because I don't mean it badly, but that sounds a little snobbish.
It was a joke at my dad because he wont let me buy a 2 or 3k car as a beater because he thinks they cost too much to keep running and always breaking down, etc. Of course that isn't always the case, but he doesnt want old cars taking up space in our already cluttered driveway (3 subarus, 1 Altima, 2 G35s and a Silverado)

So he wants to get a newer G35X to replace mine and his since his lease is up in April. Then drive it year round vs mine which sits in the garage half the year.

I'd keep mine but he likes his more than mine.

Yeah the Subie is older than an 05 anyway. And she is a go-getter.

So you're really getting rid of her?

Go-getter POS. I want to shoot that car LOL.

Yes. I drove it on my street the other day and it sucks in snow.

Makes sense. He is right. I think maintaining and fixing an older vehicle is much more of a PITA than just making payments on a newer car.

I think that is a matter of opinion. And mechanical skills. Since Mr. Jaxx is a mechanic (by trade and hobby) the newest vehicle we have is my 05. We have an 03 F150, an 02 Vulcan, a 98 Rodeo, and an 83 Stang project. Oh, and a 96 Bronco his dad is driving. He prefers the older ones cause they are easier to work on, and parts are usually cheap as long as its not in the classic category.

I wouldn't trade my Mija for anything...well maybe an IS-F- but I didn't just say that

I also don't have to deal with snow and RWD. So I know you gotta do whatcha gotta do Janik.

And don't hurt the Subie. LMAO!

It is a PITA and thats why my dad doesnt like doing it The only work he does on his own is rotating tires. He says he spent many years doing mechanic work and now he'd rather just pay someone to do it for him so he doesnt gotta deal with it anymore.

Thats the reason he doesn't help me do any mods. So yea, thats how it works.

Hello, I picked up my 05x last month on the 16th from the dealer. Before this I had a 90' 240sx 5spd w/ RB. Then after I bought me a 97 5spd Maxima. Traded the Max for the G.

Edit: Forgot to post my age. I'm 22.

What colour is your grounding kit? You should put your part-out link (back?) in your sig.

My grounding kit is red. It would look really sharp with the EM!

Well it IS almost Christmas, LOL, but I think I'll hold out for 'coke' colour or maybe silver.
