I thought folks in this forum would fit the typical G35 demographic: mid 30's-mid 40's, financially established, exec. w/ family.
Not exactly it seems....lol.--------**demographic fail sidebar** I love seeing the Kia Soul commercials with the young, hip hamsters rapping and dancing and my 63 y/o female co-worker rocks a green one ("Alien Green" Kia calls it)...haha.
I'm 41 and didn't get my G until last year.
When I was in my late teens/early 20's, I was in college and busting my tail to get an education and good career....
"Pay your dues, get a degree, good job, family, home...THEN get the nice stuff later in life! the old man would say
Nothing against those who've found a way to get their G's......are you young guys rock stars, Gigolos slinging crack, robbing banks or something? LOL.
How does an 18-22 year old afford such an expensive car?
I wouldn't have even thought of a $35K+ luxury/sports car was within reach until atleast late 20's/early 30's.
When I was 20, I was happy as can be rocking a 6 year old car ('84 Celica GT HB, 5-spd)------yes, I'm an old fart.
Different priorities I guess.

vq35 03-06 are all at least 5 years old... nothing close to $35k anymore. yeah its a nice car, but nothing out of the league for someone under 25.Originally Posted by bryman10

When I was 25 my car was a $2800 Camaro. That came after the $1800 Corvair and the $700 Austin Mini.Originally Posted by takeitez

I am 26 and I bought my 2003 Sedan when I was 23.
At the time I worked for the dealership and just fell in love when I saw it. It was love at first sight.

Anybody on here that would rather have a coupe? I for one think they're gorgeous cars but I also think the Sedan is a gorgeous car and love the looks I get in a sedan that actually looks like a sports car.
