How many sedan owner here are under 35?
I turned 32 last May and bought my G this year in the late summer/fall. I had a 1992 Nissan Maxima SE 5MT before that for 7.5 years so have been into sports sedans for a while. Before that I had a 1985 Pontiac Grand Am LE V6 coupe for about 7 years which I bought at 17 and was also my first car. Funny to go from a front wheel drive coupe, to a front wheel drive sports sedan, to a rear wheel drive sports sedan, and gain a significant amount of performance with each car. I was looking at G coupes as well before I got my sedan as I definitely wanted a 6MT no question, and there are a lot more 6MT coupes out there.
bentotdagr3at, good to hear you think your G is awesome in the snow, this will be my first winter with mine. We don't get much snow where I live though, but I might be driving through the mountains around Christmas time to visit family.

33 here. I have a g35x.
Since '03, I've always dreamed of owning a G35. Here's how I assumed it'd go down:
1) It'd be a coupe.
2) It'd be 6 speed (I've only owned one auto [qx4] and promptly ditched it).
Did I settle? Nope. For some reason, I prefer the sedan (I have no kids). Something about having a car that DOESN'T get messed with at a stoplight (I just feel the G35c looks more tempting to race) is appealing to me.
As far as auto - it came down to choosing AWD (Had Attesa ET-S on the QX4 and loved it - had a Subaru Impreza and that further sold me on AWD - had a 240sx prior to both of these that was frustrating to drive in the rain - had snow tires though, so it was great in the snow). So I found an '05 X and an '06 6MT... Drove the X fully expecting to hate it. I didn't.
I'd blow a dude for a G35x 6 speed coupe though. Fortunately I won't have to be blowing any dudes, since that doesn't exist.

Sorry to add more stuff...
Do you guys get a lot of looks in your car? As much as I've loved the G, my '05 doesn't look that much different from an '03. These things have been around a long time, but I get people staring at it. It's flattering, but I was hoping nobody would notice me.

21 here, had my sedan fully modded but sold everything and now its just plain stock. Realized there are more important things to life than just modding my car from paycheck to paycheck. Will always have a passion for modding cars though.
