order

I've placed an order on 2/25 with your company. One of the items is on backorder and I've been emailing back, asking when they expect it in (several times) and nobody has been responding. Can you help me out? Also, with the coupe midpipe I ordered, do I need new gaskets, or can I reuse my existing ones?

Thanks,

Jim

hmm
i need a larger mid pipe...... then one that is lighter then the stock one.... and one that doesnt rust...

the stock portion of my midpipe is all rusted already, but the straight pipe i put in is still clean.. wtf?

the stock center muffler weights like 40lbs.... removing that unsprung weight makes quite a bit difference.

Wow, this thread's a blast from the past! LOL!

Sorry to hear about your issues with Performance Nissan. You may want to check locally to see if someone with a coupe is getting a new exhaust. You will definitely need new gaskets.

Good Luck!

Gsedan35, what do you think of the following exhaust combo for performance? JIC Y-Pipe mated to FUJITSUBO Legalis-R exhaust. Do you think this will be significantly louder than the stock 2005 sedan exhaust? Thanks and take care.

Not to split hairs, but I'd go with the Tanabe Y-pipe, it has a 70mm output and matches the Fujitsubo sytem (I like the Jic Y-pipe just fine, but it has a 76.3mm output). I still haven't heard a Fujitsubo system in person, but based on owner comment's it does not have the droan issue's that other the true dual system's have.

What is your impression of the Fujitsubo Y-pipe? Thanks

will putting the coupe mid pipe on the sedan make it "throaty" sounding. I'd like for my exhaust to be a little deeper without a lot of mods, lol!

As if there aren't enough threads on the Coupe midpipe these days... Anyhow, check out my impressions at https://g35driver.com/forums/reviews/34040-coupe-midpipe-g35-sedan-stock-ypipe-muffler.html and/or do a search on "Coupe Midpipe" in the Sedan section, and you'll find many threads and posts on it. Enjoy!

Great points on the actual mods. As we all know there is always a better way of doing things.

But what is your HP gain? and what about sound? is it loud? deep, raspy? Do you have sound bites?

What do you think of the BORLA CATBACK system?

Replacing the Sedan's huge pre-muffler (resonator) with a quality muffler was the way to go two years ago. While many used a 22" Magnaflow, I used an 18" Allied muffler. The the right angle square tubing was added to allow use of the both of the Sedan's pre-muffler rear hangers... no chance of heat shield interference. I received many complements on the improved exhaust note.
