Anybody want to trade....
Yes I think the shifter for the auto is 200$, are there other options
out there like Nismo or Momo...
My intirior is all pretty much black so the silver would be a nice upgrade..

I did the same swap in my 03, wood caps >> silver caps. I had to buy them from Riverside Infiniti, I think I paid about $87 for all 4.
I also swapped the bulky 03 wood shifter to the silver 05 shifter, paid about $150 shipped from Riverside.

Here are some pictures to compare the two *****. BTW, if haven't already seen my interior mod thread, check this out https://g35driver.com/forums/g35-sedan-v35-2003-06/188322-2003-sedan-center-console-upgrade-fx-shift-panel-shift-knob-titanium-paint.html

All I can say is that the center console in our G looks good after a few months of use. Now, the wear and tear on the shift **** will be more than on the center console, so I can't say for certain that it won't wear down after 6 months or a year of use. But its pretty solid stuff. I'd recommend cleaning the part well with alcohol before painting, and after painting it maybe place it inside of an oven at the lowest setting (warm) for 30-45 minutes to help it cure. It takes about a week to fully cure.
