They're technically an option, but my dealer treats them as standard and orders all their cars with them. If it's not listed on your window sticker in the optional/additional equipment, then you don't have one. You can probably order one through the parts dept.

Rip-off? Why do you say that? I think it's a nice finishing touch to the car, it's a very nice mat, and for $60, I don't consider that a rip-off on a $30k+ car!

Yeah, mine just came with the car, and if it hadn't, I'd buy it for $60... it's 1/600th of the price of the car, so I don't think it's a huge deal.

I paid 70 for mine. I think it probably helps reduce some sound from back there...some may notice I'm on a bit of a sound reduction kick lately...the trunk is not a problem in this regard but i'd bet the mat doesn't hurt either.

Mine came with the car also. Looks like your salesman ripped you off.

It's not standard equipment, it's technically an option, but it looks like some dealers are including it for free. (just like others include wheel locks for free).

Re: was i suppose to get a trunk mat?

my locks were free but the mat was 70 - some have paid 200 for locks. I looked at like this. I got a great deal on my car anbd couldn't get them to throw it in for free so in light of my happiness to get the car for what i wanted i was happy to throw down 70 bucks to get the mat and have the quiter trunk and protect it from all that goes wrong back there and save my resale value. Almost anything can be justified with some creativity!

Get out, $200 for the locks, is this a typo? I bought mine from Grubbs for $28.99, geez! My trunk mat was listed as an option at $60.

Those of you saying you got it free, I'm sure you paid for it. It's probably on your window sticker as a $70 option. However, since none of us paid full sticker price....

Oh, believe me, you paid for it, even if you got a deal, they give nothing away!
