Looking into an 06' sedan

Hi all. I was at dealership today and saw an 06' 6mt sedan, no nav, with 16k miles on it. The guy I talked to there thought that I could get it for 25,000. Does that sound like a good deal? The car was very clean and in near perfect condition. Thanks in advance for you input.

That sounds like an average price from a dealership, but far from a steal. I would say $23,000 would be a good deal.

Read the oil consumption thread before you buy an 05 or 06 MT.

That sounds pretty good to me. 06 with that low miles for 23 k? I don't know how you could pull that off.

if you're looking "into" one (literally) it'll probably look like this:

I'd assume the time until an 07 comes down to low-mid 20's will be at least 2 more years, unless you can wait.

Obviously the upgrade from 06 to 07 is huge, just depends on how much of a rush you're in.

I'm not in a rush at all. My brother is in the market for a car and I saw that sitting on the lot, and figured I'd ask all of you what you thought. I talked to my brother today, and he'll probably do just as you are suggesting and go with either an '07+G or an 04+ Audi S4.
Thanks for all of your input.
